As the Senior Manufacturing Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to drive excellence in every aspect of our operations. From working closely with Chromalloy Management to uphold our company strategy and culture, to mentoring and coaching employees within our Master Alloy group, you'll play a pivotal role in our success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with Environmental Health & Safety to achieve a flawless safety record.
  • Partnering with Sales to review external requests for quotes, ensuring timely deliveries through meticulous review of technical requirements, pricing, and scheduling.
  • Working alongside Production Control to optimize product input and flow, guaranteeing on-time deliveries.
  • Coordinating with Finance to maintain accurate accounting standards and achieve budgetary goals.
  • Partnering with Procurement to secure top-quality materials at cost-effective prices.
  • Engaging with the Laboratory to obtain and interpret crucial chemistry data.
  • Making informed decisions on daily plans, considering inventory, demand, capacity, and material availability.
  • Creating schedules and driving requirements at external vendors.
  • Implementing and sustaining cost-saving initiatives.
  • Introducing flow manufacturing techniques into production, ensuring the highest quality and linearity are achieved.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in foundry management or similar operations roles, ideally within nickel alloy, steel, or other metal production operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline; however, highly experienced candidates with an Associate's degree will be considered.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of manufacturing, quality control, and planning processes. Mainframe and personal computer experience a plus. Investment castings industry experience, a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, however, exposure to loud noises will be present in manufacturing areas of the facility. Hearing protection is required when working in these areas for prolonged periods of time.
